Violin Dyads/Double Stops flash cards...
This app features flashcards to develop dyads or double stops note reading on the treble clef,
suitable for all VIOLIN Players in any style of music. Flashcards are widely used as a learning drill to aid memorization by way of spaced repetition.
Full Chords are composed of three notes: the root note, the 3rd (flatten 3rd for minor chords) and the 5th harmony notes.
On a violin, one can only play partial chords, composed of any 2-note combination, 3rd or flattened 3rd or the 5th.
Owing to the way a fiddle is played (with a bow), the notes must be on adjacent strings.
The front side of these flash card displays the notes of the dyad on the music staff, and the back side displays what notes it
is and where to play it on the fingerboard. There is also an audio reference for each note helping your familiarize
the pitch of each note. All notes covering the first position of violin fingering. A chart is provided for a handy
reference to all these notes. The practical design of these cards makes them easy to use. A couple of cards a day
will further your development in sight reading and audio recognition. Try this app today!
